- Een server VPS met Ubuntu 24.04
- Toegang tot de terminal
- Basiskennis van de commandoregel
Stap 1: Systeemupdate
Voordat we beginnen, is het belangrijk om het systeem bij te werken. Voer de volgende commando's uit:
sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade
Stap 2: Benodigdheden installeren
Installeer de benodigde pakketten met het volgende commando:
sudo apt install apache2 mysql-server php php-mysql libapache2-mod-php
Stap 3: Magento downloaden
Download de nieuwste versie van Magento:
cd /var/www/html
wget https://www.magentocommerce.com/downloads/assets/2.x.x/magento-2.x.x.zip
Stap 4: Magento uitpakken
Pak het gedownloade zip-bestand uit:
unzip magento-2.x.x.zip
Stap 5: Bestanden en mappen rechten
Stel de juiste rechten in voor de Magento-bestanden:
sudo chown -R www-data:www-data /var/www/html/magento
sudo chmod -R 755 /var/www/html/magento
Stap 6: Database configureren
Maak een nieuwe database voor Magento:
mysql -u root -p
CREATE DATABASE magento;
CREATE USER 'magento_user'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY 'yourpassword';
GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON magento.* TO 'magento_user'@'localhost';
FLUSH PRIVILEGES;
EXIT;
Stap 7: Apache configureren
Maak een nieuwe configuratiebestand voor Magento in Apache:
sudo nano /etc/apache2/sites-available/magento.conf
Voeg de volgende inhoud toe:
ServerAdmin [email protected]
DocumentRoot /var/www/html/magento
ServerName yourdomain.com
Options Indexes FollowSymLinks
AllowOverride All
Require all granted
Activeer de nieuwe configuratie:
sudo a2ensite magento.conf
sudo a2enmod rewrite
sudo systemctl restart apache2
Stap 8: Magento installatie voltooien
Ga naar uw webbrowser en typ het IP-adres of de domeinnaam van uw server om de installatie te voltooien. Volg de instructies op het scherm.

U heeft nu succesvol Magento geïnstalleerd op uw server VPS. Geniet van het bouwen van uw eCommerce-winkel!
