Förutsättningar

• Ubuntu 22.04 installerat på din server.

• En aktiv internetanslutning.

Steg 1: Uppdatera systemet

Öppna terminalen och kör följande kommando för att uppdatera systempaketen:

sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade -y

Steg 2: Installera OpenVPN och Easy-RSA

Kör följande kommando för att installera OpenVPN och Easy-RSA:

sudo apt install openvpn easy-rsa -y

Steg 3: Konfigurera Easy-RSA för certifikatgenerering

Kopiera Easy-RSA-mappen till din hemkatalog:

make-cadir ~/easy-rsa

Navigera till Easy-RSA-mappen:

cd ~/easy-rsa

Redigera variablerna i filen vars vars:

nano vars

Ändra följande rader för att passa dina behov:

export KEY_COUNTRY="SE"
export KEY_PROVINCE="ST"
export KEY_CITY="YourCity"
export KEY_ORG="YourOrganization"
export KEY_EMAIL="you@example.com"
export KEY_OU="YourOrganizationalUnit"

Steg 4: Bygg certifikat och nycklar

Kör följande kommandon för att bygga certifikat och nycklar:

source vars
./clean-all
./build-ca
./build-key-server server
./build-dh
openvpn --genkey --secret keys/ta.key

Steg 5: Konfigurera OpenVPN-servern

Kopiera serverkonfigurationsfilen till OpenVPN-mappen:

sudo cp /usr/share/doc/openvpn/examples/sample-config-files/server.conf.gz /etc/openvpn/
sudo gunzip /etc/openvpn/server.conf.gz

Redigera serverkonfigurationsfilen:

sudo nano /etc/openvpn/server.conf

Ändra följande rader för att matcha dina certifikat och nycklar:

ca ca.crt
cert server.crt
key server.key
dh dh2048.pem
tls-auth ta.key 0 # This file is secret

Steg 6: Starta OpenVPN-servern

Kör följande kommando för att starta OpenVPN-servern:

sudo systemctl start openvpn@server
sudo systemctl enable openvpn@server

Steg 7: Konfigurera brandväggen

Använd UFW för att tillåta OpenVPN-trafik:

sudo ufw allow 1194/udp
sudo ufw allow OpenSSH
sudo ufw enable

Steg 8: Skapa klientkonfigurationer

Kopiera klientkonfigurationsfilen:

cp /usr/share/doc/openvpn/examples/sample-config-files/client.conf ~/client.ovpn

Redigera klientkonfigurationsfilen för att matcha din serverinformation:

nano ~/client.ovpn
